If you choose Pastor Pat to be your wedding Officiant, he can also help you prepare for marriage. First of all, Pastor Pat hopes to show you that getting married is one of the most important decisions of your life…. Secondly, Pat can help you discover the mystery of marriage, which is the journey of “two becoming one.” He encourages couples to ask the Author of Marriage to bestow love and wisdom upon them as they prepare for marriage…. Finally, Pat will officiate at your wedding in such a manner that you and your guests will be inspired, challenged and have loads of fun!

Marriage preparation is all about relationships. Therefore, Pat’s wedding preparation services are relational and can include:


One-hour Get-Acquainted Conversation: This is usually at a casual location such as a coffee shop or restaurant. No obligation.

Wedding Ceremony Planning: Pat personalizes your wedding, in styles ranging from traditional to contemporary. This includes wedding vows, Scripture, prayer, readings, unity candles, communion, music, etc.

Premarital Coaching: Customized marriage preparation can include a relationship inventory, which can help reveal couple strengths and growth areas, motivations, and levels of satisfaction. Two of Pat’s favorite on-line “relationship” inventories are:

Wedding Rehearsal: Pat can attend the rehearsal and work with a wedding coordinator if you have one.


Wedding Ceremony and Signing Marriage License: This can include attending the reception, giving a prayer for the meal, a blessing for the newlyweds, and more.

Three-to-Six Month Marriage Checkup: A beautiful wedding day does not guarantee happiness forever. A happy marriage requires the hard work of “two becoming one.”

Love, Acceptance and Faithfulness: Pat gladly works with couples from all faiths without compromising his personal relationship with God.
